The 93rd Chunhyang Festival in May is expected to be a more spectacular festival than any other year with a combination of tradition and cutting-edge lights.

Namwon City of Jeol labuk-do announced that it has confirmed the basic plans for the Chunhyang Festival to be held from May 25 to 29 with the Chunhyang Festival Committee, led by Chairman Lee Kwang-yeon.

The Chunhyang Festival, which is expected to recover its former splendor as various social restrictions caused by COVID-19 are lifted, is the first Chunhyang Festival in the 8th-term election of the mayor.

The festival will include Namwon's dynamic future image and citizens' wishes to inherit tradition through the Chunhyang Festival and leap into culture and future industry, a vision of the 8th-term local government.

In particular, during this Chunhyang Festival, the night skies of Namwon are decorated with colorful lights.

The Gwanghallu pavilion meets the media coverage and transforms splendidly, and stars and moons shining with high-tech lighting shine on Yocheon Stream, and hundreds of LED paper boats containing the love of lovers float on the river.

Flower lanterns and reed lights will be installed around the Yocheon Cherry Blossom Road and the riverside to add subtlety, and the opening ceremony and the next day, the glow-in-the-dark show of fire works and drones will peak the splendor.
