외교관 동정 해양경찰청장, 이번 집중호우 관련 안전관리 총력대응을 지시
외교저널 (Diplomacy Journal) 이준석 기자 | 해양경찰청은 7월16일 최근 전국적인 집중호우에 따라 산사태･하천범람 등으로 인명피해가 발생하고 있어 “소속 지휘관을 대상으로 안전관리에 총력 대응할 것을 지시했다”. 고 밝혔다. 특히, 각 해경서는 하천과 바닷물이 유입되는 항포구 정박선박 침몰 및 유실에 대비하고, 해안가, 갯바위 등 연안 위험구역에 대하여 출입을 통제하는 등 인명피해 예방을 위한 안전관리 강화와 각 구조세력에 대하여 긴급 출동･구조태세 유지를 당부했다. 또한, 인명·재산 피해가 발생한 지자체와 협조하여 해안가 연안 수해지역을 파악하고, 조속한 복구를 위해 적극적으로 인력·장비 등을 지원할 계획이다. 해양경찰청은 “집중호우 기간 중 해안가 너울성 파도에 의한 월파와 하천, 해안가 범람 우려 등에 따라 국민들께서는 해안가 접근을 자제하고, 해양경찰관의 통제에 적극적으로 따라줄 것”을 당부했다.
