외교저널 (Diplomacy Journal) 이정하 기자 | 박진 외교부 장관은 8월 22일 14:00~14:30간 제4차 한-인도 국가안보실 전략대화(8.23.) 참석차 방한한 비크람 미스리(Vikram Misri) 인도 국가안보 부보좌관을 접견했습니다. 박 장관은 우리 정부는 인도 태평양 전략 하에 자유, 민주주의 가치를 공유하는 역내 핵심국인 인도와의 전략적 소통과 협력을 강화해 나가고자 한다면서, 내일(8.23.) 양국 국가안보실 간 전략대화를 개최키로 한 점을 평가하고 미스리 부보좌관의 방한을 환영했습니다. 특히, 양측은 올해 수교 50주년을 맞아 양국 간 고위인사 교류가 활발하게 진행되고 있음을 평가하고, 9월 G20 정상회의 등 계기를 포함하여 긴밀한 고위급 교류를 지속하여 양국 간 ‘특별 전략적 동반자 관계’를 내실있게 발전시켜 나가기로 했습니다. 양측은 △방산, △무역･투자, △안정적인 공급망 구축, △과학기술, △지역･글로벌 차원에서 가치를 공유하는 한-인도 양국 간 협력을 지속 확대해 나가자는 데 공감했고, 박 장관은 인도에서 활동 중인 우리 기업들에 대한 인도측의 지속적인 지원을 당부했습니다.
