외교저널 (Diplomacy Journal) 이존영 기자 | 윤석열 대통령은 9월 26일 서울공항과 광화문 일대에서 진행된 제75주년 국군의 날 기념행사를 주관했다. 올해 국군의 날 행사의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지난 2013년 이후 10년 만에 대규모 기념식과 시가행진을 시행해 국군의 강력한 위용을 대내외에 과시했다. 행사는 6,700여 명의 병력과 340여대의 장비가 참가한 가운데 오전에는 서울공항에서 기념행사를 실시했고, 오후에는 숭례문~광화문 일대에서 국민과 함께하는 시가행진이 진행됐다. 특히, 역대 대통령 중 최초로 대통령이 일반 국민, 국군 장병, 초청 인사들과 함께 직접 시가행진에 참여해 국군의 날 행사를 국민들과 함께하는 소통의 장으로 만들었다. 둘째, 한미동맹 70주년을 맞아 역대 최대 규모의 주한미군이 참가해 한미 연합방위태세의 공고함을 대내외에 보여줬다. 기존에는 주한미군 의장대와 군악대가 참가하는 수준이었으나, 이번 행사에는 전투부대 병력과 장비도 참가했다. 오전 기념식 공중분열에서는 美 공군전력이 참가해 한반도 영공을 함께 수호하는 모습을 보여줬으며,오후 시가행진에는 주한미군 전투부대 병력 300여 명이 참가해 한미동맹의 굳건함을
